Being a huge hip hop fan, I was so psyched when I found Sammy G’s music! I’ve never heard an Australian-based (Spanish Filapina) female emcee like her. With her music, confidence and ‘can do’ attitude Sammy has triumphed over all the challenges life has thrown her – both her parents passed away when she was young, she was brutally abused as a youth, lived in refuges and her sister took her own life on Sammy’s birthday – to become the fierce female performer that she is today proving that you can choose to sink or swim. She’s a total inspiration! Sammy has supported Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Samoan rapper Savage and more!
